Hello, since installing this patch http://www.debian.de/security/2007/dsa-1372 
(xserver-xorg-core) wine or winecfg immediately crash and x restarts. I have
already reinstalled wine from scratch but the bug persists. I also reported a
bug with [e-mail].

i am not really sure it the component wine-X11driver is responsible.

Moreover the bug is invalid. Wine or any other user level applications should
not be able to crash X server. This is an X server bug.

Martin, check to see if you have an out of date proprietary
graphics driver (nvidia or ati).  They're the likely culprit.
Also try 'glxgears' as a test app, it is as likely as wine to be able
to crash a misconfigured X.

i had the current nvidia driver installed but i had to reinstall it. everythi
works now, thank you.
