The main window for Symantec LiveUpdate 3.4 has text towards the bottom which
is slightly off (see screenshot). The horizontal lines should not run through
the text.

Tried riched20 and gdiplus but they make no difference.

In Wine 1.7.38 the layout looks completely different: the side panel is missing
and there is no bottom horizontal line.

In wine-1.7.44-199-g714abcb there is no window to speak of and my Metacity
crashes!

Blocked until I can work out what's going on.

Figured it out at last:

1. --without-freetype was still in my configure options.
2. The application options need to be changed from Express mode to Interactive
mode.

Still present in wine-1.7.44-199-g714abcb

Still present in Staging 2.4. Can't get it to run in vanilla Wine.

In both Wine and Staging 4.18 the application window never loads. Some
background tasks keep a few cores busy but nothing happens.
