Ubuntu 10.04 The text on the setup screens is displayed as black rather than white. On buttons it can be hovered and will turn white but not in blocks of text. Install log attached, though I can't see anything helpful.

it seems the installer provides its own custom graphical user interface. The text on the graphical elements (buttons) looks fine: white text, albeit a bit rasterized (bitmap font?).
Anyway, resolving 'FIXED'.
