that is a problem on ATI cards. it's easily solved by disabling GLSL.

although it doesn't happen on Nvidia cards so leave this bug open for the d3d
developers.

disabled GLSL crash log

with disabled GLSL game load map very long, and crashes with Microsoft Visual
C++ error. (sorry for very bad english)

the problems i see in your crash are from ALSA (sound) and ntlm...
nothing suggests missing visual c++ libraries, only the popup error.

try installing the winbind package that has the ntlm and try again, if the vc++
crash still occurs try installing vcrun2005 with winetricks.

have your wine configured for windows xp in winecfg.
