--- Comment #2 from scrimekiler@yahoo.fr 2013-03-30 19:35:04 CDT --- It seems it's related to dsound.
It seems the crash happens when I pause (which is important feature of this game because you have to pause every 2 or 3 second to plan action)

PulseAudio is not supported. Disable it and try again.
I don't have pulseaudio installed at all.
I even have "-pulseaudio" compilation flag on my make.conf to be really sure I will never have it.
I am using alsa.

--- Comment #5 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr 2013-03-31 12:49:01 CDT --- Does a native dsound dll fix the problem?

Does a native dsound dll fix the problem?
No, I already tried, it doesn't work better (still crash) and it create a delay beetweem sound and video (the sound come like 1/2 second later).
So is it a problem of dsound implementation in wine ?

--- Comment #7 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr 2013-03-31 18:29:10 CDT --- If a native dsound.dll does not help, likely the problem is elsewhere.

Hum, the logs show dsound problem on like all lines...What else do you think it should be ?
In all case it seems related to sound. If i disable voices and music and only keep the sound effects, there is no crash.
The messages talk also about sound buffer.Do you have an idea of a temporary fix this ? Like a way to use a larger/smaller buffer ? Changing the frequency from 44.1Hz to 220500 Hz could help ? Or soundrate to 8 bits instead of 16 ? Or another option I could set ?

--- Comment #9 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.37 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.37 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #10 from super_man@post.com --- This bug is reported and tested basically just against one wine version: wine-1.5.26.
I don't see point upkeeping this bug. Most likely there has been game updates, distro updates, gpu driver updates, maybe even hardware updates since this report has been made and also wine has been upgraded 3 years after report.
You most likely cant even reproduce the same exact crash than at report time.
We need newer wine and new log to start working on.
