There's not a crash in that log.
That's pretty much what the terminal displays after the game has crashed. A pop up menu comes up saying that the game ended unexpectedly.
It would appear that running the game with the safe graphics option is a good way around the crash, as I was able to play through the area and save. That said, I'm starting to think this bug may be linked to bug 12777 (complains about missing video card features), which could cause the game to end abruptly under certain circumstances.

--- Comment #7 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-06-09 21:34:51 --- What video card? What direvers? Are you using compiz/other composite manager? Have you changed any settings in registry/winecfg? If so which ones?

As I've stated in bug 12777, I have an NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT. I use Compiz Fusion, though they have yet to affect the use of the programs negatively. I didn't change winecfg other than for setting the audio to the ALSA Drivers as any other drivers don't work, and enabled the Driver Emulation option as well.
I hope this answers your questions.

As far as I am concerned, and aware, this bug has been officially squished. I won't go ahead and claim it as resolved until someone else gives their judgement.
