--- Comment #1 from Hans Leidekker hans@meelstraat.net 2009-01-09 01:25:02 --- Please attach a WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+uniscribe trace. Is there a free download for this game?

--- Comment #2 from Aaron Denney wine@wnoise.ofb.net 2009-01-09 13:54:23 --- The log files are far too large too attach, as getting to the game screen takes going through two movies, and either loading or creating a new game at the menu. Limiting the relay logs would help this, but I don't know what would be worth including or excluding.
There are apparently demo versions, but I haven't yet installed and tried them. The latest seems to be 1.5.2: URL:http://www.lighthouse-interactive.com/New-Multiplayer-Demo-Released-for-Sword-of-the-Stars-CE leads to a bunch of mirror sites, which with enough clicking can get you an executable.

--- Comment #3 from Aaron Denney wine@wnoise.ofb.net 2009-01-17 23:06:37 --- This bug apears to only be revealed by commit 020456f71b61c8d4868ca63ac5820611b3ef07d3. Reverting commit addcf866cbb42309ccafa41e8424c3b80a00a7ba makes both this bug and bug 16627 (which it introduced) go away.

--- Comment #4 from Aaron Denney wine@wnoise.ofb.net 2009-01-20 03:52:51 --- Appears to work with native USP10.

--- Comment #5 from Scott Ritchie scott@open-vote.org 2009-07-21 06:57:36 --- The game no longer crashes on the main screen. You can still get crashes by changing the video options, however just loading the game at defaults seems to work. Marking fixed -- and thank you for reporting!
