my wine version is 1.1.44
i just change the version of windows (put to seven). I tried with other
version, and the result is the same

Generally speaking you should change default version only if you have a reason
for that. Does it fail the same way on default version (WinXP)?

Thanks. So sorry, the patch don't seems to worked. I have patched Wine but the
WoW Beta Installer crash again.

The program is now installed, but it can't run. I see at the end of the og some
error reporting to kernel32, and i think the problem come from it. So the
install is done, but the game don't run.

More precisely, wine-1.3.1 will be released on the 20th. The patch itself could
be committed sometime during the week of the 20th.

I've had the same problem with wine 1.3.0 when installing WoW beta, but the
problem is gone when I applyed the patch.

Is there a way to apply this patch to my local copy of wine without using Git?
I'm fairly new to Ubuntu 10.04 (and all distros of Linux) and am running into
problems getting my patch to commit it seems.
