Summary: No screen refresh on application with tabs Product: WineHQ Bugzilla Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: bugzilla-unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: torsten.schulle@ksk-stendal.de
Hi,
i have an issue like the old bug (1689). A special application has tabs to navigate between screens (like the tabs on certain Excel or OpenCalc).
If I start the application all work fine on the first mask, but if I click on the second or third tab only the field where the cursor is blinking are refreshed. The rest of the screen shows the the first mask.
If I minimize and restore the application the complete screen is correct.
I test the application with all wine versions from 0.9.44 through 0.9.56 and some older versions, but I have no luck. I test also with native comctl32 and comdlg32 also with no luck- I think that is a problem with the winex11.drv system.
I hope anybody can solve this problem Torsten

--- Comment #2 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-02-29 12:06:14 --- What is the name of this "special application." Is it available for download?

--- Comment #3 from torsten.schulle@ksk-stendal.de 2008-03-03 11:07:46 --- Hi,
sorry if I send the bug to thw wrong list.
the special application is a software to create offers about banking products (credits and so on). The software is created for financial instituts.
Sorry you cannot download the software for license reasons.
The software shows the same effect like the bug 1689.
I don't no which component's of windows the problem is. The software works under all windows 32bit versions without problems (Vista we don't use that time).
Do you have any idea's, what I can test (replace dll's or special settings in the registry)?
Thank's Torsten
