wine messages during the error

When you start the installer from the DVD, you gonna get to a
language-selection-menu and when you press "ok" nothing happens.
You get the error messages from the attachment and the applications hangs.

Its the EU installer.
I tried it first with wine 1.0.1 and then 1.1.8 but same error.

Install log up to the file copying process (nothing special happens after)

Those fixmes really need to be less spammy.

Didnt try a clean wine but got it running now with help of a windows pc ;(

After pressing that "ok" the dialog for terms of use etc. should appear.

Can you try launching the installer again on a clean .wine? Just do
WINEPREFIX=~/.wine/newprefix wine Installer.exe

This will also reset your gecko install. If you installed ies4linux or other
stuff like that, please say so - this makes this bug invalid.

Same error, download dialog poped up to install gecko etc but crashed
installer.
Tried again then same error as before.

Still WFM, tested again on a clean wine with the dvd installer. I'm on Debian
Lenny too. Try with and without gecko <shrugs>
