Created an attachment (id=17169) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=17169) wine messages during the error
When you start the installer from the DVD, you gonna get to a language-selection-menu and when you press "ok" nothing happens. You get the error messages from the attachment and the applications hangs.
Its the EU installer. I tried it first with wine 1.0.1 and then 1.1.8 but same error.
OS: debian lenny

Attaching a log of the install. Did you try on a clean .wine?

--- Comment #3 from Skully skully@gmx.ch 2008-11-09 12:32:19 --- Didnt try a clean wine but got it running now with help of a windows pc ;(
After pressing that "ok" the dialog for terms of use etc. should appear.

--- Comment #4 from Adys adys.wh+winehqdotorg@gmail.com 2008-11-09 12:34:39 --- Can you try launching the installer again on a clean .wine? Just do WINEPREFIX=~/.wine/newprefix wine Installer.exe
This will also reset your gecko install. If you installed ies4linux or other stuff like that, please say so - this makes this bug invalid.
