When using oprofile to look at Wine's performance this causes many Silverlight
demos to crash immediately.  For example, the streaming performance demo:
http://www.iis.net/media/experiencesmoothstreaming

This demo works fine when oprofile is not being used, but the introduction of
oprofile somehow causes the Silverlight plugin to crash.  This demo does not
require DRM, so Bug #31858 does not factor into this issue.

Hello Erich,

is this still a problem?

I guessed it could have been Silverlight 5.x when looking at the bug report
date 2012-12-06. Feel free to correct the summary / version / download.

I don't know, at this point it's a little difficult to reproduce the test
conditions given that that link no longer points to the Silverlight demos.  I
could try using the wayback machine (old page:
https://web.archive.org/web/20190207172427/http://www.iis.net/media/experien...),
but if it requires a connection on Silverlight's side to old servers that don't
exist (likely) then that's not going to work.  I'm going to say that this
should probably be abandoned.
