Bug ID: 47020 Summary: LMMS/Vestige App Image crashes since upgrade Wine 4.0 Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: anto777dago@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 64178 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=64178 Unhandled exception: divide by zero in 32-bit code (0x10108835
System: Lubuntu 18.04.1
Software: LMMS 1,2,0 rc8 AppImage (https://lmms.io/download/#linux)
Wine-Stable 4.0
This particular version of LMMS used to work flawlessly with the previous version of Wine. However, it crashes with wine 4.0 when attempting to load Windows VSTs 32 bit via Vestige.
I have another laptop with Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.3 (64) and the same version of LMMS and Wine both work perfectly fine.
I tested a game on Lubuntu with Wine 4.0 to see if it was a general problem with Wine but the game works fine (https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/15123/fright-chasers-directors-cut-ce/?pc).
I tried to change the settings in winecfg with different Windows versions (XP, 7, 10)but to no avail.
I exclude that is a problem with LMMS because it's an appImage which doesn't rely on external libraries or dependencies.

Changing the settings for Lubuntu as shown in the picture LMMS_settings.png has solved the problem.
That's a workaround, not a Wine fix.
