Dear Concern,

I have been recently shifted from Windows platform to Ubuntu 11.4. In order to
run in house built application which runs perfectly on Windows i have installed
wine on my machine. Actually it is a trading software and i am able to run it
in view only mode but when i try to perform buying and selling funtion by F4
and F5 function it prompts attached wine application error. I also find few
lines in the wine application debugging which i enabled for troubleshooting
purposes. I am attaching them as well for reference.

Kindly help me resolve this issue, as it is one of the big hurdles in my way
for smooth switchover to Linux.

Please, follow the guidelines to get a proper console log (run in console and
attach the plain text output), and also press the close button because an
important part of the log is printed after the crash window closes.

You need to test on the latest wine version too, the version 1.2 is very old.
In at most 12 hours a new wine version will be released, tagged 1.3.29.

You can get the latest wine version by adding the apt repository from the
following link (there are instructions there):
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa

Thanks for getting back on this. First of all i have upgraded my wine to the
newly available release of 1.3 version but the problem is still persisting.

Secondly, When i am getting the logs from the suggested method i am getting the
attached error message and application does not open. It simply hangs, i have
tried this many times but saw the same behaviour.

Lahore Trading Work Station works for me in wine 1.5.18, please update to the
latest development version of wine and try again.
