--- Comment #3 from Elliot Womack Elliotw2@gmail.com 2008-11-03 15:55:49 --- If I run it through my file manager, it does work somehow.

--- Comment #4 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-11-04 12:15:41 --- How did you run it from the terminal?
1) wine 'c:\Program Files\path\to\mschat.exe' or 2) cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/path/to/; wine mschat.exe

--- Comment #6 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-11-06 13:59:55 --- Does the other way (1) work?
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15825
--- Comment #7 from Elliot Womack Elliotw2@gmail.com 2008-11-06 14:55:06 --- No, neither way works through the terminal, it does work through winefile though, so I think it will work so long as it doesn't have to output anything to a terminal.

--- Comment #8 from Andrew Nguyen arethusa26@gmail.com 2008-11-08 16:31:20 --- For me, supplying a full Windows path for argv[0] allows the application start, whereas merely providing CChat.exe causes the app to crash.

Invalid then. Application bug.

--- Comment #11 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmx.net 2008-11-10 15:33:35 --- There is really a difference between the two starting operations. I have heard about it before and it is a Wine bug. Likely it is a duplicate of another bug though.

Works fine for me, just use wine start /unix CChat.exe
