Bug ID: 46843 Summary: The Division 2 crashes at first settings screen Product: Wine Version: 4.4 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: A.Fettouhi@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 63882 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=63882 Terminal output from running The Division 2 in Lutris.
I am trying to run The Division 2 via Lutris with wine tkg-4.3 (from the Lutris repo). I am using the uplay version installed via the Lutris install script. Both DXVK and ESync are turned. The game launches fine but after Ubisoft logo you greeted with a simple setup screen. Here the game closes. I have attached the output from the terminal in this bug report. Looking through the output this entry seems to be the issue:
wine: Unhandled division by zero at address 0x1406d710b (thread 0117), starting debugger...
I am on Arch Linux 64bit with KDE 5.15.3 using i7-6700K with a Nvidia 1080 GTX using the 418.43 drivers.

--- Comment #1 from James James@superbug.co.uk --- I also see the same error: wine: Unhandled division by zero at address 0x1406d710b (thread 00b9), starting debugger...
Ubuntu Linux 64bit, Gnome, AMD Vega56 Using Open source drivers.
It stops the program at varying places, so I think this might be some sort of watchdog, that terminates the program if it does not see something.

--- Comment #2 from André Fettouhi A.Fettouhi@gmail.com --- It is most likely EAC kicking in. Since this game has it. The Division 1 didn't have it hence it worked.

--- Comment #3 from James James@superbug.co.uk --- Yes, it does appear to have Easy Anti Cheat. It is listed on their web site: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/partners/
