With the release of ubuntu 10.04 Halo Custom Edition/ Halo Combat Evolved locks
all windows and freezes computer. Resulting in a forced shutdown, I personally
had thought it was a problem with my installation so i completely wiped out the
hdd and reinstalled fresh seems to be wine compatibility with the new ubuntu

I did a little test to help all hard at work on the development, and bug fixes.
here is the code when i run halo

If your system locks up, you need to file a bug for your video drivers.

I installed three different drivers its not locking up but refuses to run
direct draw my 3D graphics/driver is fine I know this because desktop effects
would not work otherwise I disabled compiz and all other effects so that is not
the problem
Wine dose not seem to be able to find the information It worked in Ubuntu 9.10
If you feel its not your problem thats fine i will fine a different program

Ok I removed the .wine folder uninstalled 1.2 and installed 1.0-dev. Halo is
working but has squares in the top and bottom left so its your software. Im not
the one who was doing something wrong.
