[Bug 9657] New: Framemaker 8 setup requires setting Window version to Vista even if XP and 2000 should also work

But when the version is set to 2000 or XP there is a dialog that saying that
Framemaker requires 2000 SP4, XP SP2 or Vista. GetVersionEx returns these
service packs. For Win2000 the build number is invalid (it corresponds to SP0,
not SP4) but for WinXP all the data seems correct.

Is this still an issue in current (1.0-rc4 or newer) wine?

It's actually gotten worse. Just tested in a clean 1.1.7 with the O/S set to
XP, Vista, 2003, 2008 and 2000.  Frame 8.0 will not install.

There isn't a separate issue.  Frame is blocked from installing due to this
bug, which has regressed.

Looks like under 1.1.40, frame will install with Windows 2003 and later.

I cannot reproduce the version check failure with the "Adobe FrameMaker 8 with
Windows XP SP3 fix" installer from
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4549 for
winver=win2k,winxp,vista and I observed the installer correctly fail with
winver=win98, so I'm going to presume that this is fixed.
