This is reproducible using the free trial, available from
https://musicus.over-drive.jp/trial [click "Download版" on green background].
Run with LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8.
MUSICUS has worked fine in every devel version of WINE since August 2020,
probably earlier.
(According to

multiple games are affected.)
Using official winehq repo packages for Ubuntu 20.04, in case it matters.
