Log reportados con la instruccion: wine app.exe &> /tmp/log.txt 2>&1

Aplicacion creada en Delphi 7. Se conecta a una base de datos creada con
Firebird.
Las dll necesarias se encuentran en la carpeta de la aplicacion y de ser
necesario se copian en la carpeta System32.
Las dll's necesarias son:
midas.dll
fbclient.dll
gds32.dll
dbexpint.dll

Sistema operativo donde se quiere correr:
Ubuntu 11.04 - Nucleo Linux 2.6.38-8-generic
Memoria 2.9 Gb - Intel Core Duo T6400.

Application created in Delphi 7. It connects to a database created with
Firebird.
The required dll are in the application folder and if necessary are copied to
the System32 folder.
The dll's needed are:
midas.dll
fbclient.dll
gds32.dll
dbexpint.dll

Operating system where you want to run:
11.04 Ubuntu - Linux Kernel 2.6.38-8-generic
2.9 GB memory - Intel Core Duo T6400.

Could you retest this with 1.3.29 or .28?
If the exception is still present, try to run the application in winedbg and
create a backtrace there.

And please use english.

He did use english, mostly...

There can be lots of causes of this symptom.

Here's a similar report, in which the solution was to install Firebird in
client mode:

Is there a simple example executable that will show the problem?
Can one be created with the free Delphi trials
( https://downloads.embarcadero.com/free/delphi )?
