Trying to run the game Safecracker but the intro video plays extremely slow and then just blinks between black screen and a video frame every other second. Same issue appears in Wine version 1.0.1.

The game doesn't start for me either, tried with Wine-1.3.3. I cannot see any videos, the game simply crashes shortly after starting, without displaying anything. This is the case in a clean Wine install, using the default ORM=fbo setting.
After changing ORM to 'backbuffer' I could get a bit further: the company logos are shown then a black screen with the version number in the lower left corner, then the game crashes.
Fedora 13 Nvidia 7600 / driver 256.53

This time I added +d3d,+d3d9 debug channels. Maybe the following lines indicate a problem:
