I don't know the reason why your version is missing the "ll" from dll.

Is there any reason for this specific version? Avoid changing the windows version if it is not required.

Hello everyone,
I am also having problems getting the application to run. Console output is attached from wine 2.7 (no staging patchset, openSUSE Tumbleweed).
I think your problem is different than the OP had. But it seems to me that Battle.net doesn't run in clean prefix with default settings with wine 2.8-git, but does with wine-staging. This makes a bit complicated to test bugs now.
