I tried another start out for the game “The settlers (gold edition)” by
components from the software package “wine 8.0~rc3-1522.1”.

Some information was logged for further development considerations.

Hello,

Tested the demo from the link with wine 8.21.
No crash while installing and no crash when launching the demo either through
the installer or by itself after installation.
I could set the demo to 1600x900.
I completed the prologue and did not notice any in-game issue.

There are Unhandled page fault messages the terminal output among other usual
debugging messages but that didn't prevent the demo from working.

I think it is one of the multiple bug  reports of this OP where the console is
flooded but there is no problem in the program.

I think all his bug reports should be close as INVALID.

Which messages do you find usual so far?

Can they indicate a need for further software improvements?
