Sims 3 crashes at the end of installation with the popup message: "The Program msi5fe0.tmp has encountered a serious problem and needs to close."
I'm running 1.1.25, installed this in a clean wine folder and I've followed the recommendations from the Appdb how to install.

The instructions on the AppDB mention many different things such as suggesting to use 1.1.23 with some patches or was it that you didn't install .net with winetricks?
Without providing us more information on exactly what you did starting from a clean prefix this bug will be marked invalid.
