I am using mandriva2008.1 32 bit and turkish q keyboard . These games almost have no problem ; call of duty 2 , half life 1.5 , hunting unlimited 2008 , FM2008 etc. Those games have problems ; Moto GP 3 ; problem no keyboard , keyboard is not working . Quake 3 , no mouse look keyboard is working , Civilization3 can't start , Can't install fifa 2008 and can't work most of "EA games" games.
Another issu is may be it is not related by wine but it is very important for issue for us if it can be solve by wine I don't know the exact solution source . I am tring to make a linux internet cafe and I am tring to run handycafe client by wine www.handycafe.com it is working but at the end of installation frezing after the manual end the process , however it is working after all . But the server can't see the client altough the server ip is entered to the client and (cafe pilot is another simple! java software and it is working name resolving logging out , this explanation for ping and network issues are correct justification , ). Server is Xp , client is mandriva now . If we can run handy cafe with wine lots of cafe will pass to linux in here . And some machines will be xp , some machines will be linux.

I downloaded and ran the installer, handysetup.exe. It's really a downloader that downloads the real installer, HandySetupSeEN.exe, and offers to run it. The downloader works fine.
HandySetupSeEN.exe is really just a self-extracting archive that gives you a choice of whether to unpack and run the client or server installers. If you say yes to either, it will happily unpack and start them, but will then hang in the "Installing" screen that shows the progress of unpacking the desired installer. It seems to be hung in mid-animation; the little fluttering page showing a document copy is stuck at the top of its arc. To see where it's hanging, look for the last call to CreateProcess in +relay, then see what that thread does later. Here's the sequence of events, I think:

At this point thread 001b is supposed to exit, and this is supposed to wake up thread 001a so it can exit, but it doesn't for some reason. Or something like that.

Thank you for your interest and execuse me for my poor english. After client is installed , it looks like working same as windows environment everything looks fine . However the big problem is the client can't comminicate with server . The server is installed to the xp server machine and the handycafe client is installed the client mandriva machine .And we know that , we can play half life on lan with xp machines with mandriva by wine without any problem . If handycafe client can communicate with xp handycafe server side , it will be excellent for internet cafes management for linux and it will be the one of the most trigger of linux evolution . People can meet with linux and wine at the internetcafes.

This bug report is about the installer hang. Even if you're satisfied with the installer, we're not.
