This bug refers to the game version 1.08 only.
wine 1.3.25 good, 1.3.28- bad

how to reproduce.
1. download dinksmallwood108.exe
2. install and launch manager window.
3. keep "true color" and "windowed" unticked
4. run the game and get black screnn

If "true color", the game starts fine.

The bug is invalid.
Due to my machine slowness I took long-lasting black screen for a complete
hang. But the game starts if you wait long enough.

This is likely because of decreased ddraw performance.

Please mark as invalid
