Hello, I use Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04) and get an error message when launching Unreal Tournament. (In Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon [7.10] the game ran fine) I use the NVIDIA beta drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_173.08.html) because the drivers from repository do not work on my Dell Latitude D830 with NVIDIA NVS 140M.
To avoid the preload warning message I execute "sudo sysctl -w vm.mmap_min_addr=0" as it is said here "http://wiki.winehq.org/PreloaderPageZeroProblem".
But this does not solve the problem. The error message stays the same.

--- Comment #3 from scguy318 nodisgod@yahoo.com 2008-05-05 12:01:58 --- 0x8876017C seems to be DDERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY. Perhaps you could try setting the VideoMemorySize registry key as detailed in (http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys).

Thanks. Setting the VideoSize to 256 (I think it should be MBs) solved the problem.
