When I look through applications that have not been maintained in a long time,
there are often several dozen comments that are outdated, and need to be
deleted. Currently, I can only delete one comment at a time, and deleting a
parent comment doesn't delete the child replies.

Deleting a comment now deletes all its child comments. I agree that we should
make it easier to delete/hide a lot of old comments as well.
