Unlike Powerpoint Viewer, Excel Viewer does start up on my system even if the Windows version is Vista or later, but it can't open any files. I do not get a crash. Attaching log.

For me open and menu option works, but I can't find the test file I downloaded via the open dialogue. But drag dropping seem to work just fine.
