Bug ID: 57356 Summary: Built-in FL Studio graphical windows completely break making them unusable. Product: Wine Version: 9.20 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: moetazoug@outlook.com Distribution: ---
[Arch Linux] [KDE Plasma] [KWin]
When you move a window in FL Studio on wine 9.20 the graphical window doesn't update, so it will morph and cease to exist in really buggy ways. this *might* be fixable by enabling detached windows, but this is EVERY window. returning to 9.19 was the best solution for me.

--- Comment #1 from Rémi Bernon rbernon@codeweavers.com --- Likely a duplicate of bug 57334, sorry about that. The fix has been merged already and should be in next release. Could you confirm that it is, if you're able to build Wine from source?

- It is the same exact issue for me, I was able to fix the issue by downgrading wine back to 9.19. - At first I tried both wine and wine-staging. Wine had 9.20 so I moved to wine-staging, which was luckily outdated at 9.13. But recently it has been updated to 9.20. So my only solution is to install 9.19 manually from the github release (tar.xz and copied to my /usr/) which fixed the issue. - Mind that FL Studio is using an isolated wine prefix with preinstalled winetricks. But thanks for the reply!
