Visual C++ 2008 Express edition fails to install to install with git of today
(2008-02-08):

Digging a bit reveals that the installer dumps an error log when it fails:

Hello,

please search bugzilla/google winehq before filing bugs...
I have already posted information/patches covering various installation issues
of M$ Visual Studio products (including their prerequisites):

I didn't bother to play with VS.NET 2008 yet ... if you find a *completely new*
issue, you may of course file a bug report.
