Recently I upgraded from stable to latest development.

I did compile by hand, config being:
./configure --with-x --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib/
--x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include/

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.11 + XQuartz-1.4.2-apple44 (also compiled by hand)

any other applications (except wine) cooperate with Xorg nicely, opengl
working, everything's fine.

However if I try to run any application, even notepad, I get hundreds of
messages:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Maximum number of clients reached

I included part of output as attachment.

Also, sometimes after closing wine & wineserver I'm not able to run any other
application in Xorg anymore, I must restart Xorg. But that's not always the
case.

this behavior is introduced by --with-x flag in configure.
can you please redirect me to appropriate documentation which explains what
exactly is it for?
I thought it's support for X, but looks like it does quite opposite.
