1.) Download and install MS XLVIEW 2010 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=1cd6acf9-ce06-4e... 2.) Download the above mentioned XLS from here: http://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/DevZone/docs/html/C/tools/CUDA_... 3.) Start ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Microsoft\ Office/Office12/XLVIEW.EXE and open the downloaded XLS file 4.) Wine freezes instantly with the following error: wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0000000c at address 0x3b0c5efa (thread 0009), starting debugger... Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x0000000c in 32-bit code (0x3b0c5efa).
I can reproduce this bug any time.

--- Comment #1 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2011-06-12 08:43:22 CDT --- I can't reproduce the crash neither with 1.3.21 nor with 1.3.22: the spreadsheet is opened properly by Excel Viewer. I must add I have no MS Office installed, I just installed the app in question in a clean wineprefix.
Ákos, make sure msxml5.dll exists in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE11. What if you override msxml5.dll to native?
