Im using a software called AIRC, it is a portuguese townhall management
software.
With wine version 1.4 i could create A4 pdf files directly from the software,
but now with wine 1.6 or wine 1.7 the pdf are always size usa letter.
It is not a cups-pdf problem because printing directly to the printer it prints
only as usa letter and a little part of the data.

How can i troubleshoot the bug ? Thanks

Ithink the problem might be related with the printing dialog.

On printer called AIRCPSPRINTER, it is a printer that uses ghostscript, i can
change the paper size to A4 and it works.
In other printers i cannot.

I have compiled the 1.7 version in ubunt 14.04 and in debian 7.5

version 1.7 works flawless in debian but in ubuntu works with the printing
errors related.

the problem is the ubuntu window manager.
If in wine we allow wine to emulate virtual desktop everything works thine.

year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.51 or newer) wine?

Yes it is an issue.
It works fine when i emulate virtual screen in wine
