FileMaker 8.5 and 9 crash after a few second on startup, just afer displaying the splash screen.

You need to install the debug package for wine or compile and install from source. Also, please run a regression test to find the commit that caused this bug:

At the end I understood the problem was specific to my work computer (Kubuntu 7.04) where I used Filemaker on Wine every day until the 0.9.58 update. I'm sorry about this mistake and will have to look at the real source of the problem.
The positive point is that I learned something about testing Wine but was note able to find any information on the "debug package".
