Following the recipe in

didn't work for me; it failed with

err:msi:ACTION_InstallFiles compressed file wasn't extracted
(L"C:\windows\winsxs\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.1433_x-ww_5cf844d2\msvcr80.dll")
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallExecute" returned
1603

Perhaps they've updated the .net 3.5 offline installer
since that howto was written?

Easiest way to reproduce:

wget http://winezeug.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/winetricks
rm -rf ~/.wine
sh winetricks -q dotnet35
