download ACDSee 17 from:
http://dl.acdsystems.com.s3.amazonaws.com/acdsee/en/acdsee.exe

after install ACDSee, start from:
~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/ACD Systems/ACDSee/17.0/
with:
wine ACDSee.exe

the program failed to start, and then turn to "zombie" process in the
gnome-system-monitor.
last output is:
err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 992 bytes in thread 0009 eip
7e8310dc esp 00230f50 stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x330000

The installer provided here wants to upgrade itself into version 18. It
recuires higher windows than xp. Also it crashes similar way than v17. Assuming
it's the same issue.

The link gives version 19 already that requires windows 7 mode. It crashes
similar way:stack overflow.

I tried to run/install the exe given in url field of this report and wine is
not able to do that. 
"Application could not be started, or no application associated with the
specifie
d file.
ShellExecuteEx failed: File not found."

wine 8.4.
