Installer works fine, even put an icon on the desktop, when starting this the application executes. Putting the username in the textbox then the password, no * but some strange chacacter |_| appears, but the input seems to be fine.
When now clicking the "sign in" button the connection fails, yahoo messenger says "we cant sign you in" en proposes the throubleshooter. When clicking the "Troubleshoot" button the self test of Yahoo messenger all tests go fine except for the following, seems to be someting with settingup the connections.

$ telnet 66.163.168.217 80 Trying 66.163.168.217... telnet: connect to address 66.163.168.217: Connection refused
Nothing to do with Wine.

I installed Wine from the package manager of debian/lenny, and that was not so uptodate.
