--- Comment #6 from Reinhard Berger geist1@sms.at 2008-12-16 02:40:15 --- This bug is not a dupe, it is a other/new one, comming in sometimes with a 0.9.2x version (it worked before in very old wine versions (but dont know today wich ones yet)
FlashFXP V.2.x still works correctly with Wine 1.1.10, no freezes at all
Except this nasty bug, when you try to delete something in FTP Mode (it works in the local Browswer Mode).
As you can see in the photo, thre is even a other bug, the popup windows will not get cleared on the screen and the input focus just jumps to the input dialog box shown in the middle of the screen.
Now when this box is open, you can't to click to ANYTHING on the screen, not only the FlashFXP Programm, even the taskbar or the hidden/minimize or something else.
The mouse is SYSTEMWIDE unuseable aslong as this FlashFXP Input box is open. As you also can see on the picture, you can input correctly words and use the enter key to accept the inputs.
After the box is gone, mouse support works again correctly.

--- Comment #7 from Alois MadLoisae@gmx.net 2009-06-19 01:48:44 --- hi!
this issue is always reproduceable (still in wine 1.1.23)
connect to an ftp-server, right-click an item in the list and select "Transfer" (in the screenshot it is called "Übertragen") - the contexmenu does never disappear. The item is correctly added to the download queue and download starts, but mouse is not useable any more, you have to do a "wineserver -k" to use the mouse again.
If any logs are required please tell me which one. I can also provide VNC-access to my box (24/7 online), if needed.
thanks in advance!
kind regards, Alois

--- Comment #9 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2009-09-19 12:53:21 --- Still present in latest git.
ALT+TAB won't let you switch apps either. The right-click menu remains open until the transfer is complete, probably related.

--- Comment #10 from Reinhard Berger geist1@sms.at 2009-09-20 01:18:28 --- I found out latly that the popup menu can disappaer when you press the space bar key.
It does not work when a tranfer is in progress, but when you do something (e.g. create a folder or send a raw command) then by pressing the spcace bar the popupup menu will disappear, and the mouse is then working again.
This is a realy nasty bug and i hope it will be fixed soon.

--- Comment #12 from Daniel Jelinski djelinski1@gmail.com 2012-05-20 14:47:23 CDT --- Problem still present in wine 1.5.4, FlashFXP 3.6. Seems that FlashFXP 4 was rewritten to be more wine-compatible.
It is interesting that desktop manager allows Wine to capture the mouse so permanently. Even switching to other applications via alt-tab does not release the mouse.
