After unpacking the wine-0.9.57 tarball, I have compiled & installed wine using ./tools/wineinstall as usual, but trying to run wine on my Fedora 7 system (kernel-2.6.23.15-80.fc7) yields this output at the console:
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow) Serial number of failed request: 22 Current serial number in output stream: 26
wine-0.9.56 runs normal on the same machine.
