--- Comment #4 from rolf groennevik@hotmail.com 2009-09-28 12:07:33 --- First off, sorry for being a newbie.
I did an installation the same way I'd do it in XP, and it never asks for any DLL's. I googled the DLL's in question and others seem to have had issues with their poker clients as well, albeit not the same problem. I couldn't find the DLL's anywhere on my HDD, nor anywhere to download them on the internet. So I'm not at all sure how to fix this problem.

This could be a result of a broken installation. Could you provide a download link for that application?

--- Comment #6 from rolf groennevik@hotmail.com 2009-09-28 12:35:39 --- http://svenskaspel.se/p4.aspx?pageid=720#pinfo=133 on the left frame it says "Börja spela poker". Press it and it downloads the poker client.
Perhaps you can see if there's a problem with the installation, however, you can't reproduce the bug I'm reporting unless you log in to your account (which you obviously don't have).

--- Comment #7 from rolf groennevik@hotmail.com 2009-09-28 12:55:40 --- Sorry for not being precise. First you press "Senare"(later) then you press the tab saying "POKER". In there you find it on the left frame.

--- Comment #10 from Daniel danregister@poczta.fm 2009-11-21 18:04:55 --- It is a long shot, but.. do you have gecko installed by any chance? I have a similar problem (bug #20788) with some other poker application. It starts and I can login into my account but I cannot open any poker table, a window closes after a few seconds. The problem occurs when I have gecko installed. If I do not install gecko then everything seems to be ok.
And I also have those logs with missing gs3functioninterface dlls, in both scenarios: with gecko and without it.

I just retried it, and after installing vcrun2005 it worked flawlessly.

What about without vcrun2005? Can you attach a new output log in a clean prefix?

Run from a fresh wineprefix. It first asks me to install Mono, which goes without problems. Then it installs the poker client which also goes without problems. When I try to run the client it gives me "Internal errors - invalid parameters received". So I install vcrun2005 and it boots up successfully.

dup of bug 28345?
I don't think it was the original issue but surely it has evolved into that.

It's not a dupe, that's a separate issue. The original bug is fixed.
