--- Comment #1 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- What are the names of the selected audio driver and output device on the winecfg audio tab?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46103
--- Comment #2 from patoplc@live.com --- Driver is winecoreaudio.drv. Output device is (System default), which in my case are wired headphones.
(Off-topic: I have updated to Wine 3.21-staging, but I have since uninstalled the game, so I cannot test right now if anything changed with this build. Might be able to do more testing in mid-December.)

--- Comment #3 from mrader3940@gmail.com --- Same here, Arch Linux x86_64, linux-4.19.7-zen, wine-staging 3.21. Sound's present in cutscenes but not in actual gameplay (main menu as well).

--- Comment #4 from Andrey Gusev andrey.goosev@gmail.com --- It was bug 25173. If .vdf script didn't install DirectX then use winetricks xact and set xaudio2_7 to 'native, builtin'.

--- Comment #5 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Can an administrator close this bug as duplicate of bug 257173 and open again the bug 25173 (was closed as ABANDONED)?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46103
--- Comment #6 from Rafael Augusto patoplc@live.com --- Wine-staging 4.0-rc1, macOS 10.14.2. Following Andrey Gusev's comment of running winetricks xact on a clean 64-bit WINEPREFIX solves the issue. Game runs reasonably well (offline at least), but there are a few audio cracks.
