Crazy Taxi controller does not work. Tested in a clean wine prefix.

What means "does not worK".
Does it install? 
Does it crash during gameplay? when playing intro movies?
Be more accurate please. And please attach a console output.

Hello,

I guess it could have been phrased better (punctuation) but with little effort
I found the application is named Crazy Taxi, so I guess the issue is
'controller does not work'.

We still need more information:
- Terminal/console output [1];
- What type of controller is it (make, model and connector type)?
- Does it work with the demo [2]?
- Does it work with other games?
- Is it detected in 'wine control' when run from the application wineprefix?

@ Joaopa I did not test install. I had it installed previously. No it does not
crash during game play. I did not see any movies in Crazy Taxi. I'll upload the
console output.

It's a Radioshack Playstation to Usb game adapter. Cat:26-304 Green Asia Inc.
That's all i could find.

Does it work with other games?

Yes, it works in other games.

Is it detected in 'wine control' when run from the application wineprefix?

Yes, it shows up wine control joy.cpl.

Does it work with the demo [2]?

I don't know if there is a demo. I will have to get back to you on that.

The files are identical.

Ok thanks. I got it to download froom the ausgamers link. On the Crazy Taxi PC
Demo the control still does not work.

I tried reproducing this with a (lsusb)

Bus 004 Device 009: ID 0810:e501 Personal Communication Systems, Inc. SNES
Gamepad

Keyboard control works fine but the demo doesn't seem to react to my
controller. At least Start button doesn't work.

wine --version
wine-7.19

I think we should rename this bug to gamepad controls don't work as keyboard
control works fine.
