File / Browse's tree control misbehaves when I try to pick my
whenever you try to pick a directory using the / unix shell
namespace - it thinks for a sec, then selects Desktop.

Picking a directory in the Z: tree works fine.

Do you mean manually typing '/' for the filename, or selecting '/' in the
directory tree? The latter works fine in git. Former fails, since '/' is an
invalid filename in windows.

Removing deprecated CVS/GIT version tag. Please retest in current git. If the
bug is still present in today's wine, but was not present in some earlier
version of wine, please update version field to earliest known version of wine
that had the bug. Thanks!

No response in over a year.

If this is still a problem, please reopen and add the earliest known version of
Wine to Version field.
