Bug ID: 43029 Summary: Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun lag when enabling csmt Product: Wine Version: 2.8 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: Commander.Alchemy@gmail.com Distribution: ---
When playing Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun using Wine 2.8 with csmt enabled the game lags horribly in menus. There is about couple of seconds delay when hovering over menu items etc.
Same thing happen in Wine-Staging when CSMT is enabled.

--- Comment #1 from Matteo Bruni matteo.mystral@gmail.com --- It's probably related to bug 42979. Can you please attach a +tid,ddraw,d3d log? You'll probably need to compress it, try to keep it short by doing the bare minimum to reproduce the bug (e.g. start the game, skip everything to get to the menu then quit immediately).

The other bug does have analyze and it's quite technical (assumption?) also it has logs as requested.

Not sure what's your point? I'd like the log I requested to confirm (or refuse) that it's actually the same issue and to figure out what's the correct way to fix it (see bug 42979 comment 3).
