Summary: Lords 2: Autoplay doesn't realize that game is installed Product: Wine Version: 1.1.21 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: roothorick@new.rr.com
After installing the game through wine, and running autoplay again, "Play" and "Uninstall" is still greyed out, and "Install" is clear. Clicking on "Install" starts the installation procedure all over again. Running the game directly ("wine C:\SIERRA\Lords2\Lords2.exe") works perfectly.

--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-11-19 12:53:38 --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 6 months. Is this still an issue in current (1.1.33 or newer) wine?

--- Comment #2 from Xavier Vachon xvachon@gmail.com 2010-10-27 15:32:50 CDT --- I do not experience this problem with the GOG version of the game. Ben, I guess you have the CDROM version, can you test this again in current git (1.3.5)?

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1 year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.31 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.31 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #5 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com --- Still in wine 1.7.33, there is no relevant output. The application does a search in all drives looking for something that it's not able to find even when the game is installed.
