Edit->Preferences->Customize UI-> any of the 'color' buttons when clicked just
stay depressed and dont open their respective options. Tested on multiple
versions including latest (2.5).

Could you retest with wine 3.12? Is there anything at all in terminal output?

Tested 2.5.322.10 and wine-2.5.315.0 with wine-5.1.  Confirming fixed.
