xchat-2.6.2 ( http://prdownload.berlios.de/xchat-win32/xchat-2.6.2.exe ) is
very slow, while updating the window. (do not try to scroll fast...)

Can you try with Massimo's DIB engine from bug 421? Could be a dupe if
anything.

Tested with latest vanilla-wine (1.3.21)

Downloaded version(2.6.2) from: http://www.filehippo.com/download_xchat/837/

Cannot really confirm that it is very slow. Window updating is not that smooth
like under Windows 7. Maybe that is what he meant. Can anyone else have a try?

Only console output: fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_SelectPen PS_USERSTYLE is not
supported

This is certainly fixed, in wine 1.6-rc3 the scroll is as smooth as in windows.
I can confirm the issue in older wine versions, it was possibly fixed together
with bug 421.
