Page fault on read access 0x35 (0x7ee142d0)

Steam runs normally. Upon attempting to start ANY game, I get the same page
fault error. Originally I was using 0.9.36, but built/installed 0.9.46 to no
avail.

I see the "Launching $GAME..." window and fault. This does not kill Steam.
