The User Guide cannot point out all the weird things that may happen if people use strange ways to install things, I think.
Ah, crap. Now I realized what the REAL problem is: You're trying to *run* a non-executable *config* file, thus getting the bash error message, of course.
Which instruction "told" you to do it like that? (In other words: which part is not evident enough and has to be fixed?)
BTW, what kinds of other issues did you have with the new User Guide version mainly improved by me?
It's cool to have a Dumb Clueless N00b User (tm) (no offense - that's just a joke!) who is able to point out all the "weaknesses" of the docu...
I suggest making a deal: You just tell me about all the issues you ae able to recall, and I'll walk you through remaining problems.
