Hi,
The major part of the Arturia Software Center works. However, there are two useful dropdown menus which don’t enable on click. These are : * the one to manage account and ASC settings, * the one to clean prefs or reinstall a specific software.
The same bug appear in Arturia Pigments, a software synthesizer.
Wine using is wine-staging. It also happens with normal wine 10.12. The problem also happens with third party tools like Bottles, and other wine forks as soda (9.0.1).
Arturia Software Center version : 2.10.0.2970
System info : OS: Arch Linux x86_64 Kernel: 6.16.0-zen2-1-zen Shell: zsh 5.9 Resolution: 1920x1080 DE: Plasma 6.4.4 WM: kwin CPU: Intel i5-10400 (12) @ 4.300GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER

Unable to reproduce for wine-10.11-764-g92297dec5e0 and wine-10.0 (Debian 10.0~repack-6) provided by Debian 13 apt packages.
Attached is a screenshot of Arturia Software Center (2.10.0.2970) with dropdown menu working for Pigments for wine-10.11-764-g92297dec5e0.
All button seem to work incuding for account management.
Might there be steps to reproduce missed?
Did you run with a fresh and clean ~/.wine?

Hi, Thanks for the answer.
There weren’t any other steps other than installing.
Yes, my wine installation is fresh (It was quite empty, but I did a rm -r for the occasion.).
After your comment, I’ve tried downgrading (cleaning each time my .wine) to the versions you mention. * 10.11 behaves the same way * HOWEVER, with wine (and) wine-staging 10.0, all buttons and sub-menu work as it should.
Wine 10.13 is now available in Arch Repo : the bug happen in this version too.
I also tried on another computer running Arch too. Same : no dropdown menus with 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, but it works on 10.0.
Maybe a regression ? I can test the versions between 10.0 and 10.11 to find when it started to bug, if you want.

--- Comment #3 from Aznörth 9aam0sv8p@mozmail.com --- So I tested each version from 10.0 to 10.13.
From 10.0 to 10.4, the dropdown menus appear. Each wine version, from 10.5 to 10.13 have the bug we’re talking about.
But what is strange is that it works with on your computer with wine 10.11.

By 10.11 it was referring to the repo tag that was listed, however the screenshot shows commit 75b9e1722d1 used which indicates Release 10.13.
Regardless it is covered by the range you submitted.
I just reconfirmed with a fresh rebuild and clean ~/.wine that the dropdowns indeed are working for me.

A regression test will help pinpoint the change in Wine. https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/wikis/Regression-Testing
This may also help reveal whatever is different between your test results and mine.
I'll also test wine-staging to see if anything breaks on my end.

Actually I may have gotten lucky and it was reproduced with another test.
Upon first opening I clicked the dropdown for Pigments multiple times and it wouldn't open. But after moving the windows, the dropdown started working again when clicked.
Can you test if moving the window then clicking on the dropdown fixes it?

Just retested again without moving the window and the dropdown worked fine so the issue is intermittent and on the rare side for my system so reproducing will be challenging without knowing how to trigger it.

--- Comment #8 from Aznörth 9aam0sv8p@mozmail.com --- Thanks for your answer,
Wine (not staging) 10.5 and 10.13 : Whether I move the window or not, dropdowns don’t appear.
It is challenging indeed. It really seems consistent on my side.
The regression test is slightly beyond my competence, but I can try.

--- Comment #9 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- If the behaviour is different for two different systems there could be two different bugs. Indeed a regression test is a good way to start investigating if this is the case.
